2011 Ends Here

Pheww.

Looking for some spaces to recap my 2011. I only got time to blog when Damia fell asleep. Time constraint dowh. Like seriously.

Anyhoots, Today is the last day of 2011. So many things I've gone throughout the year. Lesson learned. Lots of lessons anyway.

I've learned that I should really know how to lift up my dignity higher. So that my family (or my life to be exact), won't be jeopardized by others easily =)

I've met many types of people so far. But 2011 is the year where I managed to know who is A and who the real A is rocking. Got what I mean? =)

But well, let me consider they're just something like some small bumps in 2011? That would be better I guess. I mean, not as bad as I thought it would be.

Talking about The most unforgettable memories in 2011, obviously about being a wife to my Hubster for a year in Oct, a Mommy in June, a Master holder also in Oct, and not to forget the day that I've gotten a PhD placement somewhere in Dec. MasyaAllah. I couldn't have asked more.

Itu semua cukup. Cukup untuk hidup aku sebagai seorang hamba Allah yang diuji secara bertubi-tubi yet dikurniakan rezeki secara melimpah-ruah. Bukankah Allah itu Maha Adil. I got a complete set of 2011 memories. Subhanallah.

Sometimes things happen that are outside of our control. But Allah burdens not a person beyond His scope right. Whatever it is, come what may, Allah knows better.

2011 telah selamat dan berjaya diharungi. 2012, Selamat Datang. It's just a number anyway.

After all, umat Islam dah sambut 'New Year' pon kan hari tu. Hehe. I know I have non-muslim readers here. I hope you guys don't really mind with my statement yg ala-ala bajet alim tu. Hanya sekadar Islamic thinking =)

Oh Happy Hatiku!

Hari ni aku happy sangat! Sebab? Sebab aku mimpi Shaheizy Sam BBM aku.. KAHKAHKAH!! Okay itu bukan mimpi happy. Itu mimpi ngeri. GAAAHH!!

Lebih mengerikan pabila aku dan WF dilantik menjadi askar untuk berperang di Jakarta. Misi diberi nama, Mencari Osama Laden. OMG APAKAH??!!!! Celah mana Encik Osama nak lepak kat Jakarta tu? Mangga Dua? Tanah Abang? Aaaaaaaaaa DAANNGG!! +____+

Baiklah. Mungkin aku teringiang-ngiang Suami berbicara bersama customer yang mahu menggunakan perkhidmatan Supir di Bandung? Maka terbawa-bawa ke dalam mimpi? Ah whateva.

So stop talking crap now.

Yang sebetulnya, aku happy sebab camera Bellaberry aku dah boleh guna kembali. Weeehoooo. Ingatkan dah tak boleh guna. Sebab bila klik capture je, dia tanak capture. Chooyyy. Terus takde mood nak berblog. Haishh #kaitanapakah?

Sekali pagi tadi try, eh dah boleh guna. Terus shuffle 5 minit. Hoho. Mungkin dah boleh guna lama dah cuma aku je malas nak try. Bukankah usaha tangga kejayaan? Kahkahkah #tetibasangat

Kesimpulannya, Iphone4s boleh di hold dulu. Mungkin boleh dibeli tatkala semua sudah setel. I want instagram! Ipad ada instagram. Tapi camera pixel dia tak se-gah Iphone4s. Easily influence by the photos quality aku ni. Dasar mak-mak yang suka ambil gambar secara bersungguh? You can say whatever you want. For me, ah whateva! Hohoho

Anyhoots, 2012 is approaching soon. What have you achieved so far? Something to ponder peeps! =)

Sepucuk Surat

Pagi tadi menerima sepucuk surat dari United Kingdom. Walaupun surat itu dituju kepada aku, namun Suami yang membuka sampul surat terbabit secara berebut. Macam surat untuk dia pulak. Atas alasan, Suami yang jumpa dulu dalam post box. Cait.

Oh rupanya surat terbabit adalah The Conditional Offer Letter from one of the universities in UK. Sampai sudah setelah memakan masa selama 2 minggu menanti. Alhamdulillah.

Maka, aku mendoakan agar Tuhan permudahkan segalanya untuk kami sekeluarga. I mean permudahkan in terms of funding, visas, etc. InsyaAllah

Mungkin kalian juga boleh membantu dengan membeli perabotsss di rumah kami. Kehkehkeh #sempatlagipromote

Esok Damia genap 6 bulan. Hadiah untuk Damia adalah Ergo Baby yo! Wuhooo. Eh Mommy yang excited. Apekah? Hohoho :p

PMR Je? No Way!

Sebenarnya, istilah 'PMR JE' adalah tak patut digembar-gemburkan. Ini bagi aku dan sesetengah pendapat dalam Twitterland aku lah. Sebab PMR juga menilai kewibawaan seseorang pelajar yang berusia 15 tahun atau14 tahun bagi 'Budak Lompat' (Zaman aku) dalam menduduki peperiksaan penting.

Since I am working in a Scholarship line, the panels takkan sewenang-wenangnya nak bagi scholarship to those yang dapat result below 6As apatah lagi yang takde A langsung. The panels akan kaji berapa budak tu score bermula daripada UPSR sampai lah SPM, A Level, Matric, Degree and so forth.

I took PMR in 2001. 10 tahun sudah berlalu OMG lamanya! And I got 7As only. Aku dapat B in English. Sebab aku over konfiden. Aku tidur lepas siap jawab soalan. Aku ingatkan aku bakal dapat B in Sejarah tapi English rupanya (Amekaw semua aku bold sebab menyesal. HUAHUAHUA).

Sumpah aku malu  masa tu.

Jadi adik-adik, tips menjawab exam penting adalah JANGAN TIDUR SEMASA EXAM sampai Pengawas Peperiksaan datang kutip kertas. Paham?! Nanti jadi macam Ah-kak! Miahahahah.

Masa aku dapat result PMR tu, aku call pihak sekolah sambil main Play Station 1 game Tazmania. My big brother forced me to call sekolah sebab sebok nak tau my PMR result. Along yang berdebor atenye. So bila dapat tahu je aku dapat B in English, aku teruskan bermain game Tazmania terbabit sambil air mata mengalir berjujuran di pipi. Sumpah sedih dan malu bhai. Kesan malu dapat 7A sangat tebal sebenarnya masa tu. Sebab kawan-kawan ramai yang dapat 8A. Kalau dapat 7A pon bukan B in English lah. But dalam subjek lain.

Atas kesedaran dan malu pada diri sendiri, aku tebus lah balik dengan berjaya mendapatkan A1 in English masa SPM. Alhamdulillah =)

Kesimpulannya di sini, ada satu ayat yang sumpah aku ingat sampai mati daripada Pengetua Sekolah aku, "Saya tak kesah kalau result kamu jatuh. Tapi saya kesah kalau kamu semua jatuh dan tak bangun bangun lagi."

Atas semangat itulah, this is where I am right now. Thank you for the brilliant words, Ayahanda Mohamed =)

Ha lepas ni, jangan pulak ALA PMR JE, SPM JE. Kalau macam tu aku nak jugak lah. PHD JEEEE. APA NAK KECOH! KAHKAHKAH

Dik, perjalanan hidup kau masih panjang Dik. Ini baru PMR. Loooonggg waaayyyy to goooooo wuhooooo. Tahu?

IELTS OH IELTS!

If you wish to further your study in oversea, one of the entry requirements is you need to check your English qualifications. If English is not your first language, or you do not have an internationally recognised English qualification, you will need to provide evidence of your English language ability.

In all cases, proof of proficiency in English Language is compulsory. IELTS and TOEFL are the English Language testing methods that are most favoured. IELTS stands for International English Language Testing System. Some people say those yang nak pursue their studies in USA, they are advisable to sit for TOEFL. Unlike those who wish to study in UK, IELTS is the way to go. Aku pon tak sure what's the different between both of them. Tapi from what I've heard, TOEFL takde one to one interview. Wallahualam =)


Jadi atas kesedaran diri sendiri dan semangat yang membara untuk belajar di negara orang, I had to sacrifice my saving by paying the test fee sebanyak RM570 to sit for the exam. Ikut hati, nak beli handbag. Tapi ikut masa depan, baiklah, bayar sajalah exam fees terbabit.

Speaking about IELTS, it has 4 sections, Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. More or less macam MUET jugak lah but MUET stands for Malaysian University English Test. So memang tak valid lah nak guna MUET result to enter their unis.

Bear in mind that you are not allowed to bring your own stationary inside the exam hall. All stationaries will be given during the exam day. In fact, you also need to leave your personal belongings like handbag outside the test room. Plastic bag will be provided for you to keep your valuable items like wallet, mobile phones etc. An invigilator will keep them for you while you are taking your test.

IELTS has so many categories either taking the IELTS for further study (Academic), General Training, Immigration or Work. So in my case, sudah tentulah yang kategori Academic =)

As shown from the picture above, that is the sample of the test report form. Kat bawah tu dia ada mention la your overall band score like band y/9.

Erm.. Apa dia? What band did I get? Anyway, cukuplah sekadar pengetahuan I got more than band 6 but less than band 9. As long as I managed to fulfill their English requirement is enough for me. Alhamdulillah =)

The Joy of Breastfeeding The Baby

Even though I didn't manage to fully breastfeed my baby, but having an opportunity to breastfeed Damia Zahraa is such a blessed. At least anak Mommy merasa jugak susu Mommy in her entire life kan. Alhamdulillah.

But then, I am so impressed with those working mothers yang managed to fully breastfeed their babies. Well done peeps! Because apparently I know it is quite impossible right. Dengan time constraint nya lagi. Dengan workload nya lagi. So congratulations to all of you.

In my case, during working hours, I'll do the pumping session for about 2 times, afternoon and evening. Dekat rumah memang direct feeding lah. Sebab tu I can easily off to lalaland while breastfeeding my little baby. Sambil menyelam minum air namanya itu. Hohoho

Kadang-kadang dapat banyak ni. Alhamdulillah

Dalam traffic jammed pon aku pernah pump while driving. hoho ;p

So kesimpulannya, hasil perahan adalah depends. Sometimes banyak, sometimes boleh lah. Pernah jugak keluar setitik je okay! Fuh masa tu memang stress bangat gua cakap sama lu. Tapi apa yang penting, iyaaaa betul. Apa yang penting adalah kerjasama antara otak dan badan. Kalau otak dah set susu ada, insyaAllah ada lah susu tu.

Support from Husband juga penting. Masa aku dapat 1 oz je, WF kata, "Alhamdulillah.. Banyak lah tu!" Rasa nak debik je time tu. Itu perli ke semangat hah? HAHAHA DANG!!! Tapi indirectly he actually tried to boost up my semangat untuk terus breastfeed. Siap belikan milk booster lagi agar si Mommy terus-terusan bagi si Anak minum susu badan. Hehe. Thanx Suami =)

Anyways, I have an intention to breastfeed Damia Zahraa until she turns 2 years. Campur FM pon takpe. Semoga dipermudahkan oleh Nya. InsyaAllah

GARAGE SALE BEBEH!

HELLO EVERYONE!

Kindly be informed that my Hubs and I have been decided to sell off some of our furnitures like TV rack, L-Shape Sofa, Kitchen Set and so forth. Reason being, we need LOTS of money as backup. Simple =)

PhD Placement

Alhamdulillah.

Received an email telling that I just got a placement for my PhD in UK. The intake will take place in June 2012. But then, If I got another offer yang lebih awal, I choose yang lebih awal. I mean, whichever comes first.

The Little Pinky Princess

Aku jarang ceritakan perihal weekend kami, bukan? Kerna weekend selalunya aktiviti kami bertiga penuh. Penuh ke sana ke mari. Sampai tak tahu nak cerita yang mana satu. Cuma last weekend je we managed to stay at home for the whole day! Phew..

Eh tapi itu on Sunday. On SabtuDay, I went to watch Ombak Rindu with Damia and @borgembira yo. Daddy only sent us off to MidValley yo. Kemudian, Daddy pergi lepak bengkel yo. Walaupon masuk setengah jam lambat sebab jammed yo, tapi kami pasrah yo. Yo yo ooo jeee -.-

Aunty Borgy tak habis-habis berkata, "Damia is such a good girl. Senyap je. Behave je". Alhamdulillah. Yup. Damia memang seorang bayi yang pendiam. HAHA. Statement apakah ini AJ woi. Ok like seriously, Damia bukan bayi yang bising. Mungkin Damia ikot Nenek, my Mama, jenis tak cakap banyak. Diam-diam berisi ha macam tu.

Aku ingat lagi WF suruh Mama yang "belah mulut" Damia. Aku masa tu agak sedikit kecewa sebab aku Emak Damia, aku nak "belah mulut" anak aku sendiri. Tapi masa tu aku tak berapa paham apa makna "belah mulut" tu. Orang kata itu mengikut sunnah je. WF kata, "Mama mulut tak bising. So biar Mama je belah mulut Damia". Mungkin sebab itu jugalah Damia pon jenis tak mulut bising. Wallahualam. Allah knows best. Daddy orang kedua "belah mulut" Damia, then baru Mommy =)

* Belah Mulut - Sapukan cincin emas/syiling emas yang telah dicelup air zam zam/air yasin keliling mulut baby. Diiringi dengan kurma Nabi diletakkan sedikit atas lidah bayi.

Significant nya - Agar bayi yang baru lahir itu sentiasa mengucapkan perkara yang baik-baik di sisi agama (Air Yasin/Air Zam Zam), dimurahkan dengan rezeki yang berlipat kali ganda (Emas), dan dikurniakan kesihatan yang sihat dan sempurna (Kurma Nabi). Wallahualam*

Okay back on track!

Setiap hari, tidak kira weekdays mahupon weekend, setelah menyiapkan Damia, Mommy akan mempersembahkan Damia dengan Ipad. Layanlah Pocoyo atau Bugs Bunny sampai lebam -.-

While she's watching the video, Mommy and Daddy akan menyiapkan diri memasing pula. Contoh, aku pergi memasak, WF pergi tolong sidaikan baju. Aku memang jarang pergi sidai baju kat luar. Sebab aku malas nak tutup pakai tudung seluar panjang sarung jubah bagai. Home is a place to be sexaaayyy everybadeehhh! Wuhooo. #kthnxbye

Kesimpulannya, Mommy pergi menyediakan breakfast, Daddy pergi tolong menjemur pakaian di jemuran kerna tatkala Mommy nak sarung pakai itu dan ini, Daddy dah boleh habiskan sepinggan breakfast. Apakah? Itu perumpamaan lah.

*Even brother Kenny Rogers pon kena tunggu aku bersiap 10 minit untuk deliver apa yang aku order JE.  Menangis sekarang bro! T___T

Lalu Daddy pon mengeluarkan Sit Me Up Cozy Blossom Pink untuk Damia. Sebab tetiba je teringat hanya 'Toys' Damia yang ini sahaja yang masih tersimpan rapi di dalam bilik. Acap kali terlupa untuk menggunakannya. Damia sudah mencecah 5 bulan lebih usianya. Baru Mommy and Daddy terhegeh-hegeh mengeluarkannya. Adui nya pun nya. Diam skang AJ!

Daddy berkata, "Nah Damia, tiup kasi kembung.LOL". Lalu Damia berusaha meniup pelampung terbabit dengan bersungguh-sungguh. Ya. Bersungguh-sungguh sampai mahu makan terus! ZzzZZzzzz +_______+

Dah boring tiup, Si Kecil Cak kami bermain Ba Ba Chak pula. Atau in English nya, Peek-A-Booooooo! Eh. Booo tu pendek je. Peek-A-Boo. Tak perlu panjang-panjang. Nanti ajaran sesat pula orang kata. Hohoho

Lantas Daddy menghulurkan bantuan pernafasan. Neno Neno Neno. Haa kan mudah kalau dari tadi Daddy je tolong tiup. Idokle kami tunggu lama. Eh kami? Celah? #abaikan

 Okay kesian kat Mommy. Pandang lah camera kejap. Hehehe

Tadaaaaa... Siap dah!

She looks comfy sitting on that 'Sit Me Up Cosy Blossom Pink'. Umpama very The-Little-Princess one. This 'sofa' is heavenly perfectly created for the baby yang in the midst of learning how to sit down properly.

I bought that 'sofa' from Bandung. Itupon masa still preggy. Kalau kat KL, price dia around RM150 -RM200. Masa aku beli kat Bandung, tak cecah RM100 if I'm not mistaken. Sama macam Bouncer yang Damia duduk kat atas tu, ha tengok la kat atas-atas tu. Yang kaler Pink tu. Itu pon sama, tak cecah RM100 juga.

Kalau ikot nafsu keibuan aku yang gilakan Toys for Babies, boleh habis beriban-riban untuk membeli barang-barang terbabit. Sebab tu aku pergi Bandung. Tapi kena pandai lah cari tiket murah lah. AA EVERYONE CAN FLY HOHOHO.

Sebab kat sana aku tahu aku mampu menjadi jutawan. While in here, aku perlu sedar diri. Muahahaha #GelakAnnoying

Go Ergo Go

Sorry JumpSac Baby.

I got a better offer from AAK who is currently residing in Tokyo, Japan telling that ERGO BABY ADA SALE! Tapi talian hayat untuk sale tu sampai tengah malam semalam je. Dahlah bagitahu petang masa balik kerja. Memang gua tak tentu arah lah memikirkan which design should I purchase. Excited bhaii.

So last night, I cooked for dinner secara ringkas, makan secara pantas, dan melayari website Ergo Baby secara berdas-das. Phewww. WF memang buat rilek lah sebab he has Moby Wrap already. If not, konfem berebut Ipad ah nak menyebok pilih design baby stuff ni. Ya Allah Daddy siapa la ni.... T__T

Eh okay sambung cerita.

Kalau harga untuk Ergo Baby Sport pon adalah lebih kurang dengan harga JumpSac Baby, might as well I go for Ergo right? Sebab JARANG SEKALI harga Ergo Baby Carrier below than RM500. Even dekat baby fair pon, koman-koman aku jumpa RM400++. Memang telan saliva je lah tengok brand Ergo ni kan.

Dekat overseas memang murah lah. Tapi kalau shipping ke Malaysia pon plus minus lebih kurang je kan. Maka nak dijadikan cerita, @LinGhazale telah membuat satu offer yang menakjubkan malam semalam. Malah ramai juga twitterland menggalakkan agar beli saja sebab memang susah nak dapat harga murah sebegitu rupa.

Baruku tahu betapa ramainya Fan Club Ergo Baby dalam twitterland aku. Hohoho =)

Ada banyak kategori under Ergo Baby Carrier ni tapi I fell in love with The Sport one. Sebab macam nampak cool. Eceh. Cool lah sangat kan. Eh tapi betul what. Kang aku kata nampak hot kang, muntah badang lak! Kui Kui Kui

Owh ya! They have 3 colors. The black one looks nice but THE RED LOOKS VERY STYLO! What I like the most about this product is it comes together with The Sleeping Hood which completely detachable and can be stored in the pocket. Kot hujan whatsoeva, boleh lah cover Damia's head from getting wet kan. Hehe

Maka, marilah mengira hari menanti @LinGhazale kembali ke pangkal jalan. MIAHAHAHA

I am so in love with this JumpSac Baby ever since I browsed about it while I was preggy. Reason being, of all brands for stylo baby carrier, I can tell that JumpSac Baby is the cheapest one if compared to Ergo Baby, Baby Bjorn and so forth.

But then, I was so down when it stated that the carrier is meant for 6 months old baby and above. Practically up to 3 - 4 years old. Aduinyapun!

And now! Since December is here HELLO DECEMBER PLEASE BE NICE TAHU ECEH ECEH so I am sooooo determined to get one of the carrier collections.
